Celebrate International Archaeology Day at the University Center with activities and presentations. Learn about archaeology that is being done in Alaska now. Children will have a chance to grind corn, learn about the human skeleton, throw a spear using an atlatl, watch how stone tools are made, see animal bones, make a mask, and excavate for artifacts in a mock dig. Everybody is welcome, parking and admission is FREE.
