TWO THINGS I want to blog about today:
The Alaska Ski For Women is coming up this Sunday at Kincaid Park. I'll be there to emcee the event and help judge the costume contest again this year. Spectators are welcome--first wave ski's at 10am.
And there are some important deadlines coming up for participants.
ONLINE REGISTRATION is available through February 2nd at midnight.
LATE REGISTRATION/BIB PICKUP will be on February 3rd from noon until 7pm at the REI Community Room.
And there is even ski waxing being done before the first wave, from 9am unti 10am on Sunday. It's going to be a fun event, and remember that the Ski For Women helps support local charities, and raises money and awareness to help stop the cycle of abuse against women and children. See you there!
ALSO: over the weekend I tagged along with April as the official Magic 98.9 photographer (and sample taster!) when House of Bread rolled out their 100 POUND CINNAMON ROLL during their grand opening.
Here is the photo album of the event. And let me be very clear...the BIG CINNY's massive hugeness was only exceded by it's gigantic deliciousness. I verified this with about 4 seperate samples. FYI.
