WALK FOR WARMTH
For me, this week began with hearts and ended with feet. On Valentines Day Monday I played all requests and dedications, and today (Saturday, 2/19) I volunteered to emcee the United Way of Anchorage's first annual WALK FOR WARMTH.
The walk was great success, with a good turnout for a first year charity event. It raised money to assist families in need with paying utility bills during these cold winter months.
Also on hand was Senator Mark Begich, Channel 13 reporter and poet Corinna Delgado (a friend and former co-worker here at Clear Channel), Miss Alaska 2011 Jessica Chuckran, and Seymour of Anchorage.

Thanks to Miss Alaska, Jessica Chuckran for helping on the microphone, and for posing for so many photos as well as taking many in my album.
Remember to sign up for it next year, and find out more ways to help our community at www.liveunitedanchorage.org.
Thanks for loggin' where I'm bloggin'.
