I RODE FOR LIFE!!

I successfully biked a windy, rainy, and hilly Seward Highway from Anchorage to Seward...and with the help of several generous sponsors, raised $735 for RIDE FOR LIFE ALASKA by the start of ride day on Saturday (7/23).

And I took along photos of my Mom and Dad.  Mom passed away in November of 2001 from lung and bone cancer.  Dad is a prostate cancer survivor.  On the left in the white placard you can see a lock of my Mom's hair.  These were with me every mile, just as the memory of my Mom is with me always.

If cancer has affected your life and you want to help prevent it from affecting others, there is still time to give to Ride For Life Alaska.  The donation link will be active for several more days.

Now I must get trained up for BIKE MS in September, which I ride to help find a cure for multiple sclerosis...specifically to cure my friend MISTY, who was diagnosed only a couple of years ago.

To donate to my biking team, to learn more about multiple sclerosis, and to discover WHY WE ARE CALLED "TEAM I.T.Y.," please click the link, or the BLUE BIKER in the corner of this page to go to BrianBikes.com.

Thanks for loggin' where I'm bloggin'.
