In Las Vegas with my AWESOME baby sister, Lisa. Yep, Mom's baby girl and baby boy doing Vegas together. I think we kind of look like The Matrix on casual Friday, don't you?
4-20-2009, John O'Hurley stopped in for an interview on one of our stations and graciously posed for pictures. He was in Anchorage playing King Arthur in the musical Monty Python's Spamalot. And we will always remember him as J. Peterman from Seinfeld and those GCI commercials.
Thanks for scrolling down this far. That mouse must feel heavy. Let's take a moment to relax with this musical interlude: BRIAN'S AWESOME 80'S VID PICK.

Here is a video I found while looking for a video for my blog. Its a cover of One Year of Love, my favorite song by Queen. This intimate, acousitic version by Stevie Ann really lets you hear her beautiful voice. You can even see people in the studio booth behind her as they go about their business. They probably couldn't hear this outstanding performance through the glass.
And here is ANOTHER cover of a Queen song. Let's see if you can name all of the artists.
Mornings and afternoons this week on Magic 98.9, listen to win tickets to THE BLUE BEAR, courtesy of Preservrance Theatre and the Anchorage Concert Association.
It's a unique and powerful tale of friendship set in Alaska around the search for the rare glacier bear.
Don't miss The Blue Bear, Feb 10-12. For tickets and more info, click the picture above, and keep listening to me in the afternoon, and Mark & April in the morning to win on Magic 98.9!
