ON TO BIKE MS!!

BIKE MS is happening on September 15/16!!

I will once again be joining TEAM I.T.Y. to bike and raise money to help fund Multiple Sclerosis research.

The maximum course is about 150 miles.  Day 1, Girdwood to Hope and back.  Day 2, Girdwood to Potter Marsh and back.

Bike MS 2010--Team Captain Robb and I in Hope, Alaska, after we completed the full 150 miles-

Please log onto MY BIKE MS PAGE to make a donation and help improve the lives of many people, and to find out what "Team I.T.Y." stands for.

You can also support Team I.T.Y. with a general donation or with contributions on other team member pages.

Team I.T.Y. 2011, Robb, Aniela and I, along with Robbs wife Misty and their cute littel daughter Mariana.

Ride For Life Alaska was successfully completed in June by all 4 of Team Ross.  My sisters, Lisa and Jody, my nephew Shawn and I biked from Anchorage to Seward June 23/24--with love and honor for Frances Ross, our Mom & Grandma whom we lost to cancer in 2001.

RFLA raised a total of $45,929 this year--and possibly more after in-kind donations.  Of that, Team Ross was 4th overall in team donations--the family raised $2,685 in cancer-fighting, life saving money!!

We suffered only soreness, numbness, sunburn on day 1, near freezing cold and wetness, and two flat tires--all temporary conditions!

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED!!  And thank you to my caring, supportive family.

FYI:  It looks like Lisa and Jody have caught the biking bug!  They continue to ride and participate in charity events in California.

THANK YOU!!

How do you know if you are visible enough on a bike?  If a camera flash makes you look like TRON, you are visible enough.

PS:  Here's something from the personal MP3 player in my head.  It helps me pedal faster.

(September, 2010:  Brian on 'Team Venture' for Bike MS--we successfully made it from Hope to Seward on Day 1.  That was my longest one day ride to date, and we had to go back tomorrow.)
