Sales Manager
Clear Channel Radio – Anchorage is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager with a successful track record of growing revenue and leading a team to exceptional heights. Clear Channel provides exceptional tools and resources; we’re looking for the person who can maximize the impact of these resources to coach our Account Executives and develop solution based campaigns for potential advertisers using all of our terrestrial and digital platforms. Sales Managers are expected to lead and implement innovative initiatives to attain and exceed overall revenue and market share goals through a strategic plan. You must have the ability to lead, be able to foster an environment of excellence and translate confidence to the sales team.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Five years’ experience in media sales;
- Thorough understanding of yield management;
- Ability to use the yield management tools to grow rates and revenue;
- Understanding of terrestrial, digital and integrated marketing assets;
- Ability to translate tools and resources into revenue generating actions;
- Ability to recognize and develop talent and identify strengths to benefit the team;
- A dynamic presence, with stellar presentation skills;
- Ability to work in a competitive, fast-moving, creative environment;
- Proven ability in training, motivating and leading a team to revenue goals.
